Why Scomac Exists
The problem isn’t a lack of training or policies.
It’s that most of them don’t match what actually happens in the field.
Generic safety manuals, check-the-box training, and unrealistic expectations create a gap between what’s written — and what’s actually done on the job.

Who We Are
Chuck MacLellan, the force behind Scomac Associates, has more than 30 years of experience in towing, recovery, heavy transport, and transportation safety.
From working the side of the highway to teaching nationally recognized certification programs, Chuck has seen where things go right — and where they go wrong.
In addition to operating Scomac Associates LLC, Chuck currently serves as Safety Director for a large towing and transportation operation in Northeastern Pennsylvania, helping oversee fleet safety, compliance, training, and operational risk management.
That experience now drives everything Scomac delivers: practical training, real-world policies, and solutions that hold up when it matters most.
